When building your “dream team”, probably the most critical key to success is communication (even beyond talent).

Culturally, Mexico has many similarities to the United States. This translates to a similar work environment and work habits. Like the United States, the work environment in Mexico is very collaborative and engaging, where employees are valued and respected. At Sonora Software, employees are empowered to bring new ideas to the table when working with clients. This results in the employees attaching themselves to the project and taking ownership and responsibility, which is a tremendous asset to our clients.

Another obvious challenge in communication is Language. In Mexico, youth are taught from elementary age how to speak, read, and write English. At Sonora Software, 100% of our staff speaks English. The skill level varies, but ultimately our clients can have a meeting, in English, with engineers assigned to their project and not have issues with communication.

Communication comes in many forms, and in business, it is crucial. Lucky for us (and our clients), communication channels when working with our colleagues in Mexico is virtually no different than working with our clients in the US and beyond.
